Transport with kid gloves

The basis is created by a special artwork packing. Portraits, statues, sculptures, even entire installations: our atelier is equipped to provide each piece of art with the appropriate protective packing - air-conditioned crates, cardboard packings etc. Padded painting crates are made in our carpentry shop where a large selection of rental crates are also available.

At Welti-Furrer your artwork is entrusted to the exclusive care of experienced, national and international specialists. To ensure that third parties do not come into contact with yor piece of art, customs clearance is not carried out externally, but on our own company premises. We also attend to insurance matters and to obtaining the necessary permits. Together with a network of fine art transporters we guarantee you a service world-wide which is on a par with the high Welti-Furrer standard. This claim to quality is also underscored by our membership in ICEFAT, the International Convention of Exhibition and Fine Art Transporters.

Safeguarding above all

For art transports exclusively air-cushion suspension, controlled-climate and alarm system-protected vehicles are used. Depending on the specific pieces of art the security precautions may also include armed guards. The piece of art is not left unattended until it reaches its destination unharmed. In various European cities we also offer collecitve transports.
